SHIPPING INFO
There are 3 main ways to receive your items:
1) Pick-up in person
We hold open pickup at our Media, PA warehouse on the Friday and Saturday following each sale from 10am-3pm. Pickup details will be outlined in your winning bid invoice after the sale closes. No appointments are needed on open pickup days.
If you can’t make it on open pickup day, you can schedule an alternative pickup via our Calendly link.
*Note: Large items may be subject to storage fees if not picked up within one week. See ‘Auction Info’ tab at the top of the sale catalog for details.
2) Schedule Delivery
We offer both curbside and white glove delivery to NYC, CT, and Philly after every sale. Our NYC/CT deliveries usually take place on the Sunday after the sale unless otherwise noted. The minimum delivery cost for smalls will include ALL of your small items. Likewise, delivery of furniture will include any smalls purchased.
The listed prices are minimums and apply to MOST items/orders, but they may be subject to change depending on the content of the order. It is best to reach out for a quote prior to the sale closing.
Philadelphia Delivery Rates - $59 for smalls, $199 for larger furniture + smalls.
NYC & CT Delivery Rates - $99 for smalls, $299 for larger furniture + smalls.
*Note: For CT deliveries we primarily offer a transfer to the Modern Day Bids warehouse at 221 Wilson Ave. Norwalk, CT. We bring the items to Norwalk and buyers can pickup from the main Modern Day Bids warehouse within 7 days.
3) Book Shipping
For customers outside of our delivery radius, or those with easy-to-mail items, you can book shipping with one of our preferred third-party pack & ship providers or another service of your choosing. The Philadelphia Mailroom and Mail Service Center are both local providers that will come pick up your items and mail them for you. All bookings for these services must be made directly with the providers.
